The Burntwater Arena 6 and under hay/turkey roping will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Arena (12 miles west of Crownpoint). Entries open at 10:30 a.m., roping will begin promptly at 11 a.m. Roping fee is $10 per man/draw. Points doubled the first pot. Information: Bensen, 505-979-2353.

American Youth Bull Riding finals

IGNACIO, Colo. -- The American Youth Bull Riding Finals is scheduled Nov. 21-24 at the Sky Ute fairgrounds. Performances begin Thursday at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and top 10 finals Sunday at 10 a.m. This is an invitational youth bull riding finals event with three long-go rounds and top 10 short-go round. Events include wooly riding, calf riding, steer riding, peewee bull riding, junior bull riding, and senior bull riding. Awards include 84 buckles and six saddles. Hay roping in Tsayatoh

TSAYATOH, N.M. -- Hay roping will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at Kinsel's Arena. Entries open at 9:30 a.m., roping begins at 10 a.m. Format includes open draw, No. 12 pick, No. 10 pick, and open draw. Roping fee is $15 per man/draw. High point roper of the day will receive 10 bales of hay and average winners in each pot will receive horse grain plus prizes to No. 6 and under. DSRA finals, open master rodeo

WINDOW ROCK -- The Diné Land Senior Rodeo Association Finals/Open Master Rodeo with two go-rounds back to back will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m. at Skeet Yellowhair's Arena in Window Rock. Books open at 8:30 a.m. Events by age category (40- and 50-plus) include bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, tie down roping, men/ladies breakaway, ladies barrel racing, ribbon roping, and team roping. Entry fee is $50 per single event and $40 per man for team roping event. Awards to average winners (payout 100 percent). Concession will be available.
