Social bookmarking allows Internet users to bookmark Web sites and tag them with keywords. Some of the many services available are represented by the icons below. All, or most, are completely free and allow you to keep in touch with friends, share stories, and make the world a better place by sharing knowledge and information.
First, users sign up at one of many social bookmarking Web sites. They can then save Web site bookmarks in one place and categorize them using self-submitted keywords, often called "tags."
Users share their links with others or browse other users' bookmarks to find the content they want. These icons link to Web sites that collect stories and links, and recommends them to users. Click on one and follow the directions to submit a story. Thanks for sharing the Navajo Times. Go back and share »
